These are the reasons I pledge to support the Social Justice Coalition – I believe:

• in freedom, equality, and a human rights framework that repects the rights of every person to life, dignity and security, as well as all other rights enshrined in the constitution.
• in the safety and security of all people and to resist crimes, including hate crimes, xenophobia and gender-based violence in all our communities.
• that the constitution should be used actively to ensure that private and governmental policies and conduct are always based on consideration of the needs of the poor and marginalized people.

I demand:

• open, accountable, ethical and responsive governance on the basis of the supremacy of the Constituion and the rule of law through active democracy participation.
